The Traditional Anglican was established to give glory and honor to God. That is our deepest desire. As Anglicans we also value and believe in the efficacy of traditional worship and its place in the modern world. More and more research is indicating a resurgence of interest in more historic liturgical practices, especially among younger generations.
Unfortunately, even within Anglicanism, there has been a desire to embrace modern worship, and in some cases to chase modern fads, to such an extent that the awareness and appreciation for traditional Anglican theology and worship seems to be quickly fading. This is not to, in any way, diminish the other approaches to Anglican worship –we do not wish to enter into any “worship wars”. However, we also wish to proclaim that there is great value in sacred tradition and its ability to communicate the Gospel in the modern world.
